Nonsensical Gibberish

Best invention evar!

Thanks to my ***wonderful*** (that's *3* asterisks in case you didn't notice, they are THAT wonderful!) in-laws, I just jumped aboard the satellite radio bandwagon by purchasing a Sirius Starmate receiver, car kit, and home kit (after rebate, coupons & discounts, it came out to $40 for the whole setup).

For $13/month, I now have access 24/7 to over 130 radio stations, over 60 of which play music 24/7 *commercial-free*! I can't even begin to describe how much fun this little unit can be. If I get tired of my regular diet of classic rock, I can change it to the 24/7 classical music station. Once I've had my fill of that, I can flip over to the All Things Acoustic channel. And in case I haven't had my fill of Broadway Showtunes or Classical Voices, I can listen to those anytime I want as well! That's not to mention all the various talk radio stations that are included with the subscription.

Where broadband internet made dial-up obsolete, satellite radio has made local FM radio go the way of the dodo bird. It is truly a fantastic invention, and should be a must-have for any music lover out there. Thanks Alex & Brenda for making this possible for me!

I think I mentioned that we were all semi-sick over the weekend? With exception to Braden, the rest of us have recovered. But Braden seems to have the worst of it now having come down with a fever last night. Poor little guy. He does not feel well AT ALL and his voice sounds funny as a result.

Connor is starting to scootch himself along like a little inchworm - by shoving his feet back & pushing his head forward along the ground. Between that and being able to roll himself over from any position, he's become quite mobile this last week, which means having to take extra precautions with him. We can also see the signs of his first tooth which is just about to break through his gums.

Still as busy as ever, but enjoying the ride, especially now that I have access to a wide variety of music whenever I want!
