"Can my life stop spinning please? I'd like to get off now..."
Wow. All I can say is wow. I don't think ever before in the history of this family have we been as busy as we've been the past few weeks. In summary, (grade in parenthesis)
Alison Krauss & Union Station concert: (A+++) Rawked hard from the 3rd row! My goodness...they sound better live than recorded. Truly one of the best concerts I've ever attended.
Ariel's first Temple trip: (B-) The trip was fun, but the drive was long & boring.
Halloween: (A-) Took Braden to a Halloween Party at a local church, which he had fun at & that I much preferred doing rather than "begging" for candy. Ariel went trick-or-treating with friends.
Star Wars Ep III: Revenge of the Sith watchers party: (B) It was mega-fun watching the movie projected on the back of my friend's house, but chilly conditions, lack of food (my own fault), and lack of people I knew made it a mediocre experience.
Dentist appt: (D-) Need I say more?
Young Women Excellence Awards Banquet: (B) Great food, great company, fun skits.
Maumelle Players "The Unexpected Guest" play: (B) Again, great food, great company, and a good, fun show.
Hanging with Da Boyz: (A+++++) Definitely one of the most fun Saturdays I've had in a while. Helped Tone unpack, took Braden to the zoo with JT & Akyroyd, and then partied at Akyroyd's crib .
And that was ALL last week...whew. And that didn't include me having to take my truck into the shop TWICE. Or me trying to figure out what tires to get for BOTH vehicles. Man, who would've thought tires could be so expensive? Or me doing little fix-up jobs around the house. Or me putting in 48 hours of work during the week. Or me....well, you get the idea.
Fortunately, this week hasn't been quite so packed, but it's been crunch time at work, which has left me exhausted every night this week.
Can you tell that I need a vacation??
