I am looking to replace AOL. In particular I am looking at Juno. Anyone
got any suggestions (or comments about Juno.com or any ISP)? Anyone
recommend one in particular. If so PLEASE respond to this e-mail and
tell me. I am looking for something to get me online but no fancy bells
and whistles (I could care less about sending IMs, chat rooms, and stuff
like that).

R,
If you use the internet less than 20 hours a month, then Aristotle.net
is your best bet. They are an Arkansas based ISP & they charge
50 cents/hour. In other words, if you use less than 20 hours a
month, your monthly internet will be less than $10/month. You
can find details about signing up at http://www.aristotle.net
Many ppl around the office use them you will find.
However, if you're online more than 20 hrs a month, the cheapest you
will find is about $10/month for unlimited access. We're currently
using Netzero Platinum which gives us unlimited access for $9.95/month.

The only thing with Netzero is that they place a very thin toolbar
at the bottom of the screen while you're online. I've heard mixed
reviews about Juno from ppl who've had it. I've been pleased with
Netzero & Aristotle.

How do I get aristotle? Anyone got a disk I could borrow to install
it? It looks like I will try it out. Also Cliff, what is the website
to get netzero? I may want to try it too. But for now it looks like
aristotle is the way to go.
My reply:
Please refer to my email dated 2/18 titled "Re: ISPs" - I
believe I provided all the pertinent info in that email.

Umm...hello?
What part of http://www.aristotle.net and http://www.netzero.com did
he not understand? Sheesh. I even linked them for him. I suppose I just
opened up a bag of worms for being helpful. He's visited my office several
times this week already telling me about AOL and how he's trying to
share his internet connection at home.
