ArcView, Tom & Trillian (totally unrelated)
Monday April 22, 2002
Short entry tonight as I'm pretty exhausted and I need to get into work tomorrow earlier than I usually do to take part in a 2-day class on a computer software GIS (geographical information system) package called ArcView.  Should be a fun and interesting class, although it's going to take precious time I *really* need to be spending on getting projects finished up.

Wanted to thank Tom for being the first to mention and link to my humble little excuse for a web journal on his site.  (Hey, I can always use some "free" PR).  Tom and I knew each other when we were both attending Rockville Chinese School during our reckless youth.  Chinese school was essentially a 4-hr block of time on Sunday when we would take chinese language, cultural, and sports classes.  And some of my most memorable times during my youth were from Chinese school or activities with other friends of mine from chinese school.  Hard to believe that we had our 10-year reunion just last year.

One last thing before I go...for those who are tired of dealing with all the different "instant messenging" programs (ie. ICQ, AIM, Yahoo! Messenger, Windows Messenger, etc).  check out Trillian - it's an interface you can download to manage all your messenging programs with just one program.  Sorry Mac users - it's only out for PC users at the moment.  (Credit for finding this useful utility goes out to my brother-in-law Brett - thanks!)

Again, I apologize for the brevity of this entry - hopefully will have more to say...(ok, I take that back - I always have lots to say)...hopefully will have more energy tomorrow.  :)
