I'm a Travelin' Man...

One of the threads I read today in one of my computing forums posed the question,  "How many times have you moved in your lifetime?"  The guy who started the thread answered w/18 times...I think I've come pretty close, although I'm not sure whether to be proud or embarassed of that fact.  Hehe.  My best guy friend remarked that it seemed like we were always moving - and considering that Jen & I have moved every year in the nearly five years (anniversary is May 31st) we've been married, that's definitely true.  He said he was glad that he kept my address in a Palm since he was having to update it so often.  I agreed with him as I probably would've taken up several pages of a dayplanner otherwise.  Hehe.  So for the record, here is my list of where I have moved & how long I stayed in each place:
Los Angeles, CA (6 yrs)
-> Beltsville, MD (apt) (6 mo)
-> Bethesda, MD (small house) (5.5 yrs)
-> Bethesda, MD (big house) (6 yrs)
-> Austin, TX (dorm) (1 yr)
-> NE Austin, TX (1st apt) (1 yr)
-> Central Austin, TX (2nd apt) (3 yrs)
-> NW Austin, TX (3rd apt) (1 yr)
-> Fort Collins, CO (dorm) (1 yr)
-> Ft. Collins, CO (apt) (1 yr)
-> Ft. Collins, CO (married student apt) (1 yr)
-> Ft. Collins, CO (rental house) (1 yr)
-> W Little Rock, AR (apt) (1 yr)
-> Maumelle, AR (rental house) (1.5 yrs)
-> Maumelle, AR (apt) (6 mo)
-> Maumelle, AR (rental house) (soon-to-be in another month)
Which makes my grand total 15 moves over 31 yrs...of course most of those moves took place while in college/grad school, but still...still a lot of moving.  I probably should've invested in U-Haul stock...hehe.  Anyone else come close?

On a related note, one of my lifelong dreams is to travel to each of the 50 states.  Up to now, I've actually been to all but seven.  Ones that I have *yet* to make it to include:  Washington, Oregon, North Dakota, South Dakota, Hawaii, Missouri, & Wisconsin.  Since we are so close to Missouri right now, I really need to get up there to get that one added to my list.  Tentatively, our Thanksgiving plans may include driving through St. Louis, MO so that'll take care of it.  :)

Seinfeld voted #1 TV show of all-time by TV Guide.  :)  Who can argue with that?

Pics of my friend's accident for those out there who are interested.  Thank goodness everyone was ok.

In closing, seems like many of my friends are going through relationship trauma as of late.  :(  My heart goes out to you and I just want you to know that my emailbox/phone number is available for anyone that wishes to vent...:)  I can definitely sympathize.
